Wash & Care

From juice spills to muddy paws, here is how to keep your Boneless Couch looking brand new.

Keeping Things Clean: Maintenance and Covers

Our premium covers are tough, but they love a little TLC. To prevent shrinking and keep the colors vibrant:

  • Wash Temperature: Cold water only (°C or below).

  • Cycle: Gentle or Delicates.

  • Detergent: Use a mild, clear detergent. Avoid bleach or harsh fabric softeners.

The Secret to Longevity: Zip It Up!

Pro Tip: Before throwing your covers in the wash, zip them

  • completely shut. This protects the zipper teeth from snagging on the fabric or the washing machine drum during the spin cycle.

Drying: Air is Your Friend

To maintain that perfect “snug” fit on your foam:

  • Hang Dry: This is the gold standard. Drape them over a drying rack or a chair.

  • Tumble Dry (If you must): Use the “Air Fluff” or “No Heat” setting only. High heat is the enemy of synthetic fibers and can cause the covers to become difficult to put back on.

Dealing with Spills (The Foam Core)

Because our couches feature a water-resistant internal liner, most spills never reach the foam.

  • If the liner gets wet: Wipe it down with a damp cloth and a drop of dish soap. Pat dry immediately.

  • If the foam gets wet: Do not put the foam in the washer or dryer. Spot clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry completely in a well-ventilated area before putting the covers back on.

Freshness Hacks

  • The Vacuum Method: Every few weeks, run a handheld vacuum over the fabric to remove lint and pet hair.

  • The De-wrinkler: If your covers look a bit “relaxed” after a wash, don’t worry. Once you put them back on the foam, the tension will naturally pull the wrinkles out within 24–48 hours.

Care FAQ

QuestionAnswer
Can I iron the covers?
No. High heat can melt the fibers. A handheld steamer on a low setting is fine if needed.
How often should I wash?
Only when needed! Frequent washing can wear down the fabric over years. Spot cleaning is best for small marks.
Will the colors fade?
Our fabrics are highly UV-resistant, but like any textile, constant direct sunlight will eventually fade them. Rotate your pieces occasionally!
